    Work: Find the solution of equation 12+3[7+2(8+x)] = 7(x+14) .

    Solution:Original question:
     12 + 3(7 + 2(8 + x )) = 7( x + 14)
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = 12 + 3 × 7 + 3 × 2(8 + x )
                                             = 12 + 21 + 6(8 + x )
                                             = 33 + 6(8 + x )
                                             = 33 + 6 × 8 + 6 x
                                             = 33 + 48 + 6 x
                                             = 81 + 6 x
    The equation is transformed into :
     81 + 6 x = 7( x + 14)
    Remove the bracket on the right of the equation:
     Right side of the equation = 7 x + 7 × 14
                                               = 7 x + 98
    The equation is transformed into :
     81 + 6 x = 7 x + 98

    Transposition :
     6 x 7 x = 9881
    i.e.
      - x = 9881

    Combine the items on the left of the equation:
      - x = 9881

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
      - x = 17

    By shifting the terms and changing the symbols on toth sides of the equation, we obtain :
      - 17 = x

    If the left side of the equation is equal to the right side, then the right side must also be equal to the left side, that is :
      x = - 17
    This is the solution of the equation.
