    Work: Find the solution of equation 4+5[11+2(7+7x)] = 9(8x+17) .

    Solution:Original question:
     4 + 5(11 + 2(7 + 7 x )) = 9(8 x + 17)
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = 4 + 5 × 11 + 5 × 2(7 + 7 x )
                                             = 4 + 55 + 10(7 + 7 x )
                                             = 59 + 10(7 + 7 x )
                                             = 59 + 10 × 7 + 10 × 7 x
                                             = 59 + 70 + 70 x
                                             = 129 + 70 x
    The equation is transformed into :
     129 + 70 x = 9(8 x + 17)
    Remove the bracket on the right of the equation:
     Right side of the equation = 9 × 8 x + 9 × 17
                                               = 72 x + 153
    The equation is transformed into :
     129 + 70 x = 72 x + 153

    Transposition :
     70 x 72 x = 153129

    Combine the items on the left of the equation:
      - 2 x = 153129

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
      - 2 x = 24

    By shifting the terms and changing the symbols on toth sides of the equation, we obtain :
      - 24 = 2 x

    If the left side of the equation is equal to the right side, then the right side must also be equal to the left side, that is :
     2 x = - 24

    The coefficient of the unknown number is reduced to 1 :
      x = - 24 ÷ 2
        = - 24 ×

    We obtained :
      x = - 12
    This is the solution of the equation.
