    Work: Find the solution of equation （100-s）*（2s+40） = 100*（s-40） .

    Solution:Original question:
     (100 − s )(2 s + 40) = 100( s − 40)
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = 100(2 s + 40) − s (2 s + 40)
                                             = 100 × 2 s + 100 × 40 − s (2 s + 40)
                                             = 200 s + 4000 − s (2 s + 40)
                                             = 200 s + 4000 − s × 2 s − s × 40
                                             = 160 s + 4000 − s × 2 s
    The equation is transformed into :
     160 s + 4000 − s × 2 s = 100( s − 40)
    Remove the bracket on the right of the equation:
     Right side of the equation = 100 s − 100 × 40
                                               = 100 s − 4000
    The equation is transformed into :
     160 s + 4000 − s × 2 s = 100 s − 4000

    After the equation is converted into a general formula, it is converted into:
    ( s + 50 )( s - 80 )=0
    From
        s + 50 = 0
        s - 80 = 0
    it is concluded that:：
        s1=-50
        s2=80
