     Multiply both sides of the equation by:(1 + r )
     1150(1 + r ) = 40 + 40 ÷ (1 + 2 r ) × (1 + r ) + (40 + 1000) ÷ (1 + 3 r ) × (1 + r )
    Remove a bracket on the left of the equation::
     1150 × 1 + 1150 r = 40 + 40 ÷ (1 + 2 r ) × (1 + r ) + (40 + 1000) ÷ (1 + 3 r ) × (1 + r )
    Remove a bracket on the right of the equation::
     1150 × 1 + 1150 r = 40 + 40 ÷ (1 + 2 r ) × 1 + 40 ÷ (1 + 2 r ) × r + (40 + 1000) ÷ (1 + 3 r ) × (1 + r )
    The equation is reduced to :
