    Solution:Original question:
     100 ÷ (1 + r ) × 1 + 100 ÷ (1 + r ) × 2 + 75 ÷ (1 + r ) × 3 + 75 ÷ (1 + r ) × 4 = 0
     Multiply both sides of the equation by:(1 + r )
     100 × 1 + 100 × 2 + 75 × 3 + 75 × 4 + 50 × 5 + 25 × 6 = 0
    Remove a bracket on the left of the equation::
     100 × 1 + 100 × 2 + 75 × 3 + 75 × 4 + 50 × 5 + 25 × 6 = 0
    The equation is reduced to :
     100 + 200 + 225 + 300 + 250 + 150250250 r = 0
    The equation is reduced to :
     975250 r = 0

    Transposition :
      - 250 r = 0975

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
      - 250 r = - 975

    By shifting the terms and changing the symbols on toth sides of the equation, we obtain :
     975 = 250 r

    If the left side of the equation is equal to the right side, then the right side must also be equal to the left side, that is :
     250 r = 975

    The coefficient of the unknown number is reduced to 1 :
